Responsibilities

Job Overview

As a Corporate Aviation Supervisor, you will be responsible for verifying all Corporate Aviation business transactions are accurate and complete. You will be reviewing, verifying, coordinating and reconciling business transactions and billing processes. You will also be monitoring Corporate Aviation activities, inspecting facilities and public areas to ensure standards for safety, cleanliness, maintenance and other contract related functions are being met.

What you will be doing:

  • Supervise the Corporate Aviation staff including, but not limited to: job performance, preparing and assigning shift schedules, coordinating requests for leave, preparing and conducting training for new employees. 
  • Review and recommend changes to Corporate Aviation procedures, policies and protocol based on publications, reports and memoranda; ensure that supervised staff are following prescribed procedures and have been sufficiently trained to perform their duties.
  • Make recommendations to supervisor concerning the appointment, performance evaluation, disciplinary action and termination of subordinate staff.
  • Monitor operations and activities on the Corporate Aviation ramp to ensure environmental compliance and safety; reports discrepancies and follows up as required.
  • Operate Aircraft Refueler on Corporate Aviation ramp in all weather conditions.
  • Monitor Corporate Aviation ramp to ensure the safe operation and parking of aircraft, ensuring all appropriate fees are collected and documented.

What you need:

•     Associate degree in business, public administration, aviation or related field.

•     Three (3) years of experience in airport operations, aircraft fueling operations, general aviation, or airline operations including one (1) year experience in a position requiring extensive public contact.

•     Two (2) years supervisory experience in the above listed fields.

•     Must possess Aircraft Re-Fueling certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire.

•     Must possess or obtain National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Safety Certification within 30 days of hire.

•     Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.

•     Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.

  • Ability to prepare, organize and conduct training of new employees as well as recurrent training for all employees.
  • Ability to support and contribute to a strong safety process.
  • Ability to supervise, assign and coordinate work activities of assigned staff in order to accomplish assignments within pre-established time limits.
  • Ability to comply with all compliance protocols for operating fueling equipment.
